These are pretty sweet to see, and I did see a couple of the games from their ps2 line up that are catching my eye. The only gripe I kind of have is that I wished they would have the option of long box or CD case. I noticed a lot of the games are in the long box for the ps1, and me personally, I was never a fan of the long box ps1 game cases. You look at them wrong and they cracked...but that is just me

i hope PRG gives credit to the communites and fan groups responsible for the translations. as cool as these releases are, it is a bit odd that they are profiting off of other people's work, including the original game developers. i'm all for piracy (especially with retro gaming) and game preservation, but not when it costs money. all of these releases are completely free on the internet so people are better off saving their money.

I’ve been on a retro game binge for the past 2 months 👍🏾

I constantly hear UA-camrs talking about modded systems, and as an older collector, I honestly don't have a lot of tech savviness in me (which is why I'm not a PC gamer). So as much as I want one (specifically a modded Sega CD), every time I ask about them, I get only vague answers and nobody really wants to help point me in the direction of where I can get one. I know that modding systems is kind of frowned on, but how is anyone who wants/needs one supposed to find one if nobody in the community is willing to help them? I had the same problem trying to get my hands on a trustworthy multi-region Blu-ray player for my imported movies. Can someone PLEASE tell me where I can get the chips needed to mod or who I should look to in order to have it done, or who's a trustworthy seller of them? I want to expand my collection too.

Silver Star is definitely better on the Sega CD. Eternal Blue has that whole use points to save on CD. That one I like more on the Saturn. Of course the best fan translation for the SNES and the PS1 is obviously Tales of Phantasia.

Cool releases, might get the Lunar games if the posters are still available. Since I'm Kojima diehard I did get the Policenauts release from PRG and played through it completely. IMO the game doesn't get interesting until you get to Act 3 which takes a while. The rail shooting gameplay which you can use the mouse which is what I did isn't anything special and is very few of them in the game. Story I don't think is anything mind-blowing compared to the rest of Kojima's games but I do recommend you try it if you are a fan of Kojima's games. Game honestly is best known for its banger opening music which Konami used for later games.
